The Old Palace: The Old Palace has undergone various and major renovations since the 13th century. Originally, in the 13th century, it was a water moated palace which later became the head seat of the Counts of Wurtemberg in the 14th century. Transformed again in the 16th century, it became a Renaissance style palace. The water-filled moat was then removed in the 18th century.
